Arrive at Vejrø from the sky and experience its unique beauty from the air. With its idyllic location in the Smålandsfarvandet strait, the island is a true gem. Our runway (EKVO) is meticulously maintained, providing safe and comfortable landing conditions.
The runway spans over 550 meters with a width of 30 meters (RWY 06/24) and is located on the southwestern side of the island. It is marked with red and white boxes as well as a windsock, placed on the south side of the runway.
GPS-coordinaters: N 55 ° 02.00 ′ E 011 ° 21.02. PPR (Prior Permission Required) is not necessary. There are no restrictions on arrival and departure. At the runway, you will find a small shed with maps and information about the island. We kindly ask you to register in the building near the runway.
Pilots should be aware of wildlife and birds that may be on or near the runway.

Our helipad is a validated location for helicopter arrivals. The helipad, AV HELI PAD, is located next to Skipperly Restaurant and is visible from the outdoor terrace.

Please note that there is ample space for surrounding vegetation, but pilots should be aware of wildlife and birds that may be present on the helipad.
