How to arrive in Vejrø

Vejrø is one of Denmark's best-preserved island gems – and easy to reach.

Whether you arrive by sea, air, or public transport, we will guide you safely all the way to tranquility, nature, and adventure. You can sail with our own boats, arrive at the marina in your own boat, or fly here by helicopter or plane.

  • Public transportation

    Bus or train?

    If you want a more sustainable and convenient journey, Vejrø Resort is easily accessible by public transport. If you are traveling by bus and train to and from Vejrø, we would love to hear from you so that we can best accommodate your arrival and departure times. Contact us at +45 63 20 59 20.

    Kragenæs Harbor

    There is a direct bus service from Maribo Station to Kragenæs Harbor. Maribo has train connections to Nykøbing Falster, from where there are further connections to Zealand, Copenhagen, Funen, and Jutland.

  • Sail with Vejrø's boat

    Vejrø's own boat sails between Kragnæs Harbor and Vejrø Marina.

     

    If you have booked a stay at Vejrø Resort, sailing is already included. During your stay, sailing typically takes place from Kragnæs Harbor to Vejrø at 11:00 a.m. and returns from Vejrø to Kragnæs Harbor at 10:30 a.m. We recommend that you check your booking confirmation for exact times.

  • Own Boat

    Sail in your own boat to Vejrø

    Vejrø Marina is your peacefularrival on the island in the Småland archipelago – surrounded by sea, open landscapes, and island life with a focus on nature and gastronomy. The marina is suitable for both short stops and longer stays and provides easy access to everything on the island.

    Boats over 15 meters must book a berth in advance. Please contact: +45 63 20 59 20

    Boats under 15 meters do not need to book a berth in advance of arrival.

  • Aircraft and Helicopter

    If you want to fly to Vejrø, please contact us in advance.
    Fly in your hobby plane, arrive by helicopter, or fly with Nordic Seaplanes or Copenhagen Airtax to Vejrø.

    Information for pilots and helicopter operators
    Land close to everything. Our helicopter landing pad (AV F II PAD) is located directly in front of Restaurant Gaia – so you can literally step out and take a seat at the table.
